Monday Morning Ethics

It is an honor and privilege to be a writer. It was a long journey through many corporate corridors to return to the passion I enjoyed since childhood, through college and graduate school. I write for myself and for clients; sometimes fiction but mostly, nonfiction.

As my academic and work background have been so varied, just about everything interests me. I enjoy research and interviewing fascinating people. Underlying my work is a thirst for knowledge and a passion for finding hidden gems wrapped in personal stories.

Published and self-published titles include books on American manufacturing, WWII aviators, surgical recovery, sports ethics and even duck egg production.

My current personal nonfiction projects include The Sea of Peroxide, a memoir based on those of us who worked New York City Paramedics at the onset and then the rise of the HIV/AIDS crisis. I continue to develop the nonfiction manuscript Junie and Me, about the life of Junius A. Kellogg, basketball athlete, disability activist and poverty program administrator.

I mainly write for clients who are national keynote and motivational speakers, business coaches and service-oriented professionals. Though my current capacity to take on new business is limited due to workload, I am pleased to discuss goals and objectives with potential clients. I will not touch on politics, hate speech or bias.

My wife and I share our Denver residence with a fussy, semi-feral cat named Marguerite. My hobbies include heirloom vegetable gardening, Wing Chun, fitness and most anything related to Japan.

A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do.
