Jewish Aviators in WWII (MacFarland Books, 2016)
I was blessed to collect stories about Jewish WWII personnel and their contributions to the WWII “air war.” More than 100 men and women were kind enough to engage me in detailed conversation ranging from fighter and bomber pilots to ground personnel in every theater of war. As their stories unfolded, I realized it was far more than a WWII account of heroism and bravery than an account limited to a religion. Sadly, most of the people I interviewed have by now passed away. I am forever blessed by their stories. I am currently at work on a novel based on the book.
